Originally born and raised in New York City, I was at St Cuths for Years 12-13 before returning home to the USA for university. Fast forward through work experiences in finance, entertainment, and public policy, a job opportunity in Auckland opened up and I have been back since 2017.
Auckland has changed quite a bit since 2008, and I feel privileged to play a part in that as a Senior Economic Policy Advisor at Auckland Council.
I previously had experiences at places like the US Senate, New York State Senate, Al Roker Entertainment, and AB Global - so trust me when I say that my advice can be applicable to more than one field!
My spare time means making the most of the CBD (once a city mouse, always a city mouse) and becoming more outdoorsy - especially as it looks like the current pandemic will keep me in NZ for a bit longer. I also volunteer with my alma mater in the States as an alumna mentor for current and graduated students, having previously served on its Board of Trustees.
I'd love to connect socially, I'd be happy to share career advice
Always be kind and pay it forward.
Moving countries can be daunting so I’d be happy to help those thinking of relocating to the USA for school or life with the insight of someone who’s crossed the ocean a few times. I’ve seen Kiwi friends crash and burn on OEs. You need all the support you can find!
I would also look forward to sharing my two cents on public policy or banking careers.
