I graduated with my law and arts conjoint degree at the University of Auckland in 2019. After graduating, I became Air New Zealand’s first corporate graduate. I’ve been here over a year now. I’m moving to Wellington soon to join the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as a Foreign Policy officer. This aligns with my interest in public law and policy, and my passion projects outside of university and work. I have an immense passion to serve my communities and because of this, I have received the Prime Minister’s Pacific Youth Award for leadership and inspiration, the Sunpix Pacific Peoples Award for Emerging Young Leader, and received the Tongan Youth Award for Community Service.

In Year 13, I won the Oratory Cup for my speech titled “South Auckland and Proud”. When I won, it meant more to me than receiving an award. For me, it represented the support and belief my college had in me and in all that I am. I remember how proud I was to speak of my home, my neighbourhood and where I grew up. When I was awarded first place, it made me see that my college was just as proud of me too. This was one of my best moments at St Cuthbert’s.
The world is much bigger and brighter than anything that might be bringing you down right now. There is a world out there waiting for you, your gifts, your talents and your aspirations. Show the world what you’re made of!
St Cuthbert’s has given me so much, so I want to support in any way I can – coming to help out at events or mentoring current students etc. – just let me know what’s best.
